Calheta Glamping Pods - Nature Retreat, a property with a garden, is located in Calheta, 27 km from Girao Cape, 29 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, as well as 35 km from Marina do Funchal. Beautiful pods at a peaceful location. The room was really clean. It had a nice private terrace with beautiful views. The private parking was very convenient too. The property offered some food and drinks at a low cost. It also offered facilities, like a washing machine service, at a low cost.

The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Felt completely removed from busy life, which was the intention! Comfortable, clean, and cosy. The host was super friendly. The food at the local cafe was great. The donkeys were cute.
