The glamping is very cozy, the owners are extremely friendly, the facilities are awesome, parking is easy (and although it's not super easy to drive there, the stunning view explains it all), and breakfast was great. The garden is beautiful, the doggo is gorgeous, everything was great. Unfortunately, we booked it only for one night because our schedule was tight, but it worked great as our own peaceful retreat. Since there was not much nearby and we did not want to go for a drive, we stopped by a supermarket on our way there and bought some things to cook dinner - the kitchen is fully equipped (including oil, salt, and pepper)! The aircon works both for cold and warm. Great experience, definitely recommend it!

Ubicado a 27 km de Cabo Girão, Calheta Glamping Pods - Nature Retreat ofrece una pileta al aire libre, un jardín y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, patio y wifi gratis. The views were excellent, the morning bread was very thoughtful, the hammocks on the balcony were a great touch, everything was very comfortable, and the staff was very attentive. The kitchen space was a surprise bonus.

This camp in Madeira was probably the most beautiful accommodation I have ever stayed in. So well equipped and comfortable that we didn’t miss anything at all. The bathrooms and kitchen were located just a few steps away. Everything was very well organized and clean. The whole place is beautifully set up and truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended – we would definitely love to come back!

The host was so supportive and attentive and fixed any issues immediately (one day water didn’t work). It’s also a 6-8 hour round trip to pico do Areiro hiking from the shelters, just follow the markers.

Me gustó todo, las instalaciones (con todo tipo de detalle y comodidad), el maravilloso entorno (que incluso con lluvia y niebla que me pillo a mi fue espectacular) y la gran amabilidad de Dioclecio. Un sitio perfecto para desconectar del mundo y como punto de partida para disfrutar diferentes trekkings.

The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is located INSIDE the national ecological park, and provides access to some of the best hiking on the island. We were a family of three, and everyone slept comfortably, and enjoyed walking to O Barracão, which has amazing poncha and a great food selection. The property also has a small pond with trout, and friendly donkeys. Dioclécio greeted us, and had great recommendations for hikes and information about the local area. We would love to come and visit again!
