When I arrived I was invited into Amed's family's home for my reception. I was greeted with kindness, Joy and felt like i was family instantly. I have never experienced something like this before. I was offered something to drink and sat on the livinroom couch surrounded by his family and friends who all made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Amed shared with me his mission statement regarding how he is building his resort to give all visitors a truly joyful experience and stay. He and his wife are building an oasis in the jungle hillside from the ground up, with the main focus of giving their guests a truly unique and special stay. I had chosen the tent option and was truly impressed with how they had thought of everything when it came to equipping the tents with everything that I would need, including a comfortable king size bed. They are in the process of building more facilities and expanding their resort to include a yoga terrace, more washrooms, more rooms and a future pool and restaurant. The quality of the construction is superior to anything that I've seen and I worked in construction most of my life. I could go on and on a out how wonderful I was treated. Perfect temperature in the tent with the fan no AC needed. Great location for accessing all parts of the island. Amazing hosts that went above and beyond who speak perfect English.

The tent offers air conditioning, a minibar, a terrace with sea views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 1 bed. Location was beautiful with sea/ beach views. Room was spacious and comfortable. Even had little monkeys playing outside room which were entertaining to watch. Only negative was the steps to reach the unit, no problem for me but could be for people with mobility issues. The climb up was worth the views. Excellent for attending Full Moon party as it was much quieter but still easy walking access. The staff really made the experience positive so friendly and they went above and beyond.

We were greeted warmly and spent our first evening teaching and playing "Mau Mau" - Uno but with a regular card game. We extended our stay as we found it peaceful, quiet, beautiful and very chill. They also have a Bar where you could spend the evening:) If you have a scooter you can get everywhere within 10 minutes!
