This tent's standout features are the hot tub and fireplace. Guests will find a refrigerator, kitchenware, a microwave and a tea and coffee maker in the well-fitted kitchen. We stayed in the tent and it was lovely! The hot tub outside was heated by wood which was a nice touch. The breakfast was amazing. Everything was fresh and the staff were all friendly. The manager, Danielle, stayed past working hours to check us in and was super helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. Marco, her husband, took us on a game drive and he was very passionate about what he did! Would definitely recommend! :)

Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. This was an incredible stay — everything from the view to the tent to the staff to the food was impeccable in every way. The only downside is that we feel like we’ve been spoiled and the rest of our trip simply can’t compare. Special shout out to Norma for her amazing safari drive and Lars for the bush walk — but really the entire staff deserves high marks!

Situated within the Amakhala Game Reserve, Safari Lodge - Amakhala Game Reserve is a thatched lodge offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and sun terrace. The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... This Lodge was by far the best location we visited during our stay in Africa. We had Desmond as a game driver. He was very knowledgeable and funny. It was a real pleasure dooing the outings with him. They also had a system in which everybody was assigned to a waiter. Sheldon the waiter was also amazing.

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. From the warm welcome to the final farewell all was great. Absolutely loved the two game drives and saw a variety of animals. Food and drinks were plentiful. A memorable trip!
