Very family friendly place. My kids of 6 and 4 years old were going to the play area walking by themselves. Very safe. Different playgrounds and so much fun for the kids. We stayed in the ninjago cabins.

The Lodge Billund is only 300 metres from Legoland Amusement Park and 3 km from Billund International Airport. Wi-Fi internet is free, and all rooms have a flat-screen TV. Due to a system issue with Booking.com, the check-in process was not completely smooth. I had booked the stay for 2 adults and 2 children, but because of a problem in Booking.com’s system, the children were not reflected in the hotel’s booking system. However, the hotel administration was very cooperative. They understood the situation and handled it together with us in a practical and fair way. This was not the hotel staff’s fault—it was an issue from Booking.com’s side. Booking.com charged us for 2 adults and 2 children, but somehow the children were not properly linked to the reservation. Despite this, the hotel itself is very good and the staff is helpful and supportive. We enjoyed our stay. The children’s play area, swimming pool, and sauna are excellent. The sauna costs an extra €20 per person. Breakfast was good, although there is no full-time restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance of LEGOLAND and offers sufficient parking. Overall, if you are planning a trip to LEGOLAND, this is one of the best places to stay within this price range.
