This is a great place to stay. This will be my go to for Bulgaria. It’s in a gated community. The place was very nice and spacious. Outside is beautiful. Worth staying here even if you are visiting Sofia or Veliko Tarnovo.

Къща за гости "Марковски" queda aproximadamente a 29 km de Gate of Trajan y ofrece alojamiento con vista al jardín, patio y cafetera. Place of serenity. Silent area. Easy parking. It was a bit cold outside but the apartment was heated well. They provide toys for children and unlimited wood for the fireplace.😄 (Fire place is to enjoy, you don’t need it to heat the apartment) Washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave etc. was provided. The fridge was a bit small but it was OK for us.

What you see is what you get, pictures are accurate. The acommodation was good, the surroundings were excelent to keep a child busy, wide open spaces, with a private car entrance and dedicated driveways ( this belongs to Hyatt Regency Hotel, which is charging you a parking fee... but you have free parking on another public driveway! )

The hot mineral water everywhere. It's simply amazing and the outside pool area is big enough to enjoy and relax but also to get a decent swim! That being said, the hotel is indeed 2 stars so you should adjust your expectations when it comes to accommodations or breakfast. We have been coming here for years and in all honesty, the kitchen got significantly better recently, the amenities are better taken care of and the personal is just wonderful so there are many reasons for us to come back again and again and again haha.
