As a solo hiker spending a month in Switzerland on a budget that my wife would allow, this was a super place to stay for 4 nights. My only regret is that I didn't stay a week. If I return, I will stay for a week! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. I used the shared showers and found them much better than the private showers of the other rooms of my trip. The hosts answered my questions and even loaned me their repair tools when my glasses fell apart. I feel that the combined savings from the kitchenette for meals and the pass for the mountain lifts exceeded the price of my room. And there's a laundry room!

Built in a modern Engadine style, this 3-star hotel in the centre of Sils-Maria is 750 metres from the Furtschellas Cable Car. The traditionally furnished restaurant serves Swiss and Italian cuisine. The location was great, just a few minutes away from the bus stop in the heart of the village. We had a lovely view of the mountains from our room. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel restaurant was also very good.

Aladin Apartments St Moritz offers units with a balcony or terrace, a fully-equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, a living room and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Excellent value and quality. Contained two single beds and a couch. Had a good vibe. Better than pictures.

Set in Scuol, within 500 metres of Public Health Bath - Hot Spring and 25 km of Piz Buin, Garni Alpenrose - Grusaida offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property as well... Had a room away from the road, facing the valley. It was quiet. Small but nice functional bathroom. I could keep the window open at night. Great breakfast buffet.
