Situated in Grindelwald, 2 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Bergwelt Grindelwald - Alpine Design Resort features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This is the best hotel in Grindelwald - modern, convenient, has a pool and SPA, excellent breakfast, underground parking lot. It is on the expensive side but in my view totally worth it. Highly recommended.

Located in Bad Ragaz, 22 km from Salginatobel Bridge, Cubilaris Motel features free bikes and views of the mountain. Clean and accommodating. The suite was great and had everything we needed. Our room was lovely and spacious. The view was of a green hedge, which was nice. I didn’t realize when I booked the motel that everything was do-it-yourself. Check-in machine in front of the door to get your key and key drop-off to check out. Everything went smoothly, but this could be an issue if any challenges arise that need to be dealt with by a real person.

Located in Grindelwald, Hotel Gletscherblick provides free WiFi and a shared lounge. Fitted with a balcony, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Absolutely loved our stay! The views were breathtaking from our balcony room and the location was convenient for exploring the area. There is a bus that is only a 3 min walk away that leaves every 1/2 hour or it’s about a 20 min walk from town. The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. The photos don’t do this place justice! The views are truly amazing. It’s up the steep hill and away from the main street so we didn’t feel the rush or crowds of tourists at all. We stayed here in September for 4 nights in one of the apartments on the top floor. It was spacious and had its own kitchen, balcony that looked straight at the mountains (a room with a perfect view!), and a washing machine and dryer. We ate dinner at the hotel as the walk up from the main street is a steep 20 minute walk, and we didn’t want to do it in the evening with a young child (buses stop around 5:30-6pm). Breakfast was plentiful too. Our daughter LOVED running around and playing in the field in front of the hotel. We walked down to the main street to catch the train or took the bus to where we wanted to visit. It was all easy and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. The location is exceptional, the staff is very friendly and the room has a good space

Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi. Excellent location and great staff! Enjoyed our stay and totally worth it. Fantastic view from our room, sat down in the balcony to stare at Matterhorn for hours. Great spread of breakfast to start your day! If you are in Zermatt, this is the place you should stay!

The Hotel Daniela enjoys a very calm location in Zermatt, situated within a 10-minute walk from the cable cars and the train station. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. Everything was amazing! Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and the spa is perfect for ending a day on the slopes.

The Hotel Edelweiss is located in a sunny and quiet area in Davos, just a few steps from the public indoor pool, the ski and hiking trails, the sports center, and the congress hall. Good stay in Davos, with a nice location and a good breakfast. The highlight is the staff, which are really friendly and welcoming, offering that extra bit of comfort to the stay. With regard to this, special thanks to Dominik at the front desk.

Hirschen is situated in a 17th century landmark building located in Interlaken. This hotel features a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel staff made us feel like home. If I could stay few more days I could even call the lady in reception “mum”. :)
