First of all, a nice and warm atmosphere. A real family feeling. Beautiful and authentic territory with a lot of nice attributes of a farm village. Michelin 3-star restaurant with fantastic food. Superb breakfast with home-made bread, always warm and delicious. The room with a little balcony and a gorgeous view of the mountains and church. Sitting on the balcony and sipping the Vermerntino - what can be better on a sunny day. The room itself might be bigger; we were with our daughter and had 2 tiny rooms, but it wasn`t a big problem for us. Anyway, this is a unique chance to stay in a traditional stone house made of gray granite with a slate roof. We saw a lot of them in the Ticino region in Switzerland

The rooms were large, the bathroom was also large, the beds were good, the breakfast was excellent, with many options and very good quality breads and cheeses. The hosts were very friendly, they got us free travel passes for the duration of our stay, they paid attention to our needs.

Charme Hotel al Torchio ligger i Ascona, 3,1 kilometer fra Piazza Grande Locarno og 41 kilometer fra Lugano jernbanestasjon. Wonderful and helpful staff, which was exceptionally friendly and professional, provided very helpful tips for stay/ area/ outings, with great communication. Learned, that the building has a lot of interesting history. Impeccably clean place. Spacious room and bathroom. Tasty, high quality and varied breakfast. Located in a (quiet, high quality) pedestrian zone, but accessible by car to drop off bags. Just a very short walk to the lakeside promenade, with lots of restaurants, and the boat landing. We had a great couple of days there and loved the area.

I Muralto, 12 minutters gange fra Piazza Grande Locarno og 5,9 kilometer fra Patriziale Ascona golfklubb, ligger Stalder Meat & Bed. The host was very kind and helpful, the garden outside was cosy and very well looked-after. I can only recommend 😊

Set 650 metres from the lake, Sasso Boretto, Luxury Holiday Apartments offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a bar. Super clean, very cozy and short walk to the lake and restaurants. Staff very kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
