Getting to the beach is a long walk (we drove our car). Great hiking in forests and grass covered dunes close by. Loved walking through the hotel's very large garden area where they grow a lot of their own food for their restaurant. Also many nice enclosed sitting areas in the garden. This hotel is best for people who enjoy walking and biking, nature in general, home-grown food. Rooms and hotel in general were very clean.

The dinner is great and the breakfast is amazing - quality over quantity. The rooms are nicely done with comfortable bathroom, nice bed and balcony! They also include a surprisingly nice stocked minibar complimentary in the room rate. This is our second visit over the past 12 months and the hotel is only getting better - great management and colleagues running this hotel.

I loved the area. We were able to do so much without a car. We rented bikes and visited the Jensen strawberry farm, Frederikshavn, took a bus to Farup Sommerland, and ate at Highway 69. The staff was so helpful! They helped my daughter and I find all the right buses so that we could get to Farup. All in all, we had a memorable week in Denmark.
