We stayed a few days at the end of our Basque tour and what a wonderful decision! We booked a room with the spa included and again a great choice. Highly recommend to relax and reset the body for onward travels. The bathroom was also very nice. The tub is large for a hot solo bubble bath and the separate shower was also very large. The toilet had its own door. In the trend of glass bathroom walls this hotel does it right because the privacy in the bathroom isn't lost. The property felt secluded but is easily connected to the old town by bus. Worth every bit for quality and service.

Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. had a wonderful stay at Hotel Atalaia on the hottest day of the summer. The staff was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful with both us and our dog. They managed to get us the last available table at their restaurant, which turned out to be amazing—the food was delicious, and the chef is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. A truly warm and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Situated in Leintz-Gatzaga, 36 km from Sanctuary of Arantzazu, Gaztainuzketa Mendi Etxeak provides air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. Fantastic location run by an attentive and passionate owner/team. The area is beautiful and un spoilt. The owner clearly took great pride in this & what he had built. The accomodation was very good. A great balance of comfort/cabin. Extremely comfortable bed, a wood burner and small practical kitchen setup, all perfectly presented. We enjoyed our stay and the walks in the local area. A perfect stop off traveling back from Portugal for us.
