Chambord is 30 minutes, Cheverny 10 min and Blois 20 minutes away. b. Actual house. It is historical mansion with stone walls and timber elements which are many centuries old. At the same time it is renovated to perfection, clean and comfortable. Beds are great and night sleep is the best I had for a long time c. Hosts. They are lovely people, eager to help you with expert advise on history of the area, wine selection and restaurant booking. d. Breakfast. It is very good. Local farm products, gluten free options.

They were very clean and well-maintained. The suite was exceptionally spacious and we liked the structure too. Frederick the host was warm and very helpful in sharing with us that the Chateau Sully-sur-Loire would be closed the following day so that saved the day. We managed to visit it in the afternoon instead after checking in. It was just a stone's throw away, so convenient. He also recommended eating places for the evening. We had a superb dinner. Frederick went the extra mile in helping us to sort out some difficult issues with our car rental as we were left in the lurch with no transport to Amboise. He made several repeated calls to a few parties and was so patient in following up even after we had checked out. The family rates this 10/10, no less. Oh yes, breakfast was superb too!

We enjoyed this fantastic chateau on our second visit sharing it this time with family members. The welcome from the manager and staff was very warm. We feel privileged to be able to stay in such exceptional surroundings. It might priced at twice the amount of many chain hotels, but for this you have exceptional surroundings. A spacious building with real history, huge grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was superb. Charming waitress and very imaginative food choice. Breakfast also excellent and plentiful. This was a fantastic stay!
