Located in Newtonmore, 300 metres from Newtonmore Golf Club, The Braeriach provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. A truly comfortable hotel with great attention to detail — everything from the room design to the cleanliness was impeccable. The bed was extremely cozy, and the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of fresh and high-quality options. A place that really makes you feel cared for — highly recommended!

Situated 15 km from Balmoral Castle, Ailsa- Enchanting Tiny House with wood burner and hot tub in Cairngorms features accommodation in Ballater with access to a hot tub. This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Craggan is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Ballater, 16 km from Balmoral Castle. The location was beautiful and calm just a 5 minute drive from the charming town, Ballater. The hosts were warm and welcomming people that made the stay very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing and the room was large and very cozy. We had a fantastic couple of days here.
