This year, we came to Hévíz for Christmas for the first time. We knew that shops and restaurants are closed for Christmas, but we came to swim in the Thermal Lake. It was an unforgettable experience. The air temperature was around 0 degrees Celsius, and there was snow and frost on the shores. The water temperature was around 25 degrees Celsius. Steam rose from the water, which looked like a thick fog. There were very few people, and it felt like you were floating on the lake in solitude. We loved everything about it.
