Ballycannon Lodge is family-run accommodation offering guests a friendly, homely and comfortable atmosphere, modern surroundings and reasonably priced accommodation. The extremely friendly owners gave me a warm welcome. The room was spacious and immaculate. Really enjoyed my stay at Ballycannon Lodge. Would highly recommend!

The Cottage is very well maintained and modernized. The hosts could not have been more helpful. The facilities in the Cottage were all what we would have wanted as was the cutlery, cooking utensils etc. A very nice touch was that the hosts decorated the cottage for Christmas which we truly appreciated.

I wish I knew the fridge was fully stocked for breakfast items as we stopped at a store and purchased the same items to cook a full Irish breakfast. I'm sure the next guest will put the items to good use. We hope to come back for a longer stay to explore my wife's family ancestry area, and meet with the locals who know the history of the area.

The beds were so very comfortable and the rooms very warm. The location was so peaceful and quiet. This is truly an exceptional property.
