The 24 hrs access to the hot spring pools was fantastic. We had the pools to ourselves after 5 pm. We ate sushi one night and it was delicious. Parking was easy and convenient. They allowed us to keep our entrance to gardens and hot spring after check out and even gave us a new robe and towels.

1.4 km from Fumarolas in Furnas, Canto`s Green Garden, Apartamentos Turísticos & SPA, 4 Estrelas provides accommodation with access to a sauna, hot tub and hammam. Everything was great. Furnas is well situated for discovering a lot on Sao Miguel. The staff is very friendly and helpful whenever a question came up they were able to help. the Fitness room is well equipped, the pool nice for some swimming. The houses have everything necessary. Breakfast has nice local food, i really recommend the "volcano bread". The garden is nice for some leisure stroll. There is a separate set of dark towels ready to take to the thermal springs! Supermarkets and good restaurants are close by (about 10min walk), hot springs can be reached by foot too. In a radius of about 30-35min driving distance are a lot of possibilities, like for hiking, canyoning, whale watching, the tea plantation and more.

Loved this hostel! Iris, the owner, is so kind and present. Check in was super easy and I was able to check out late before my flight. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are really nice. My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!

She answered fast when I had questions. The property is beautiful and a real sanctuary. Beautiful buildings, pool, jacuzzi, barbecue, laundry room, lush garden, birds and turtles. Everything is just perfect! We had room 400, cozy and very comfortable bed. We got fresh eggs and avocados from the garden by Claudia’s employee who was super sweet.

Quinta da Nasce Água is situated in Angra do Heroísmo and has a pool with a view and garden views. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Fantastic hotel. My 9 year old daughter absolutely loved it and she wants to go back. Great swimming pool. Wonderful garden. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff.

We had a guesthouse with a jacuzzi (some units have it), which we made great use of after long travel days. The staff was caring and friendly. Good location for travelling the island.
