The main highlight was the exclusive access to the baths and beautiful botanical garden outside public visiting hours – it was quiet, relaxing and very convenient. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of fresh options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a very comfortable hotel in a beautiful location. Would recommend it.

The territory is very beautiful and green. The house is well-organized. There is everything you need. A lot of light in every room. It’s very quiet and you have a feeling that you are alone. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast and it was very delicious.

Located in Angra do Heroísmo and with Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach reachable within 600 metres, Partenope Hostel and Suites provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, free bikes, free WiFi... Partenope is in the center of Angra, near the botanical garden. The parking space is very close and it's cheap. Taxi od near as the bus stop. Restaurants and cafes are near as well as shops. It's a quiet establishment and honestly I can't in the evening and went around in the morning, My bunk bed was spacious and pleasant. Breakfast is basic; bread, cheese and ham, yogurt, juice, coffee, honey, Nutella, some sweets and fruits as well. Enough to start the day. The kitchen is spacious and has everything for a quick snack. It was pleasant to chat with the owner of the establishment as well. If you're looking for a place to end the day and start fresh, this is the place.

Located in Pico da Pedra and only 18 km from Pico do Carvao, Quinta da Paz Azores provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Exceptional location right in the middle of the island but still close to everything one would need, decorated with very good taste - a perfect balance between old and new, an incredible yard with a large garden and many birds that add a bit of life to the scenery. Sometimes fresh eggs directly from the hens in the yard are available for breakfast - although during our stay there was quite a competition for them :)... too many people wanting them and too few eggs - so the owner supplemented from other sources to meet the high demand haha. The pool was a bit cold for the month of May when we were there, but good for a short swim for the brave. There is also a very nicely arranged indoor jacuzzi where we spent one of the evenings - much more suitable in terms of temperature for May than the pool. Generally, the place is frequented by families with children or quiet groups... we didn't really see the other guests during our stay. We also used the barbecue, where you have all the conditions, everything is prepared, plenty of wood, and the grill is impeccably clean and ready to use. All in all - an attention to detail that you rarely see, and we have traveled quite a bit. For us, this should be the definition of 5 stars: nature, good taste, cleanliness, tranquility, enough space, a well-kept garden, and a lot of respect between guests and hosts... for this reason, I consider the quality/price ratio unbeatable. We didn't miss anything and felt wonderful, a place I would definitely return to with pleasure if I came back to the island. Last but not least, Claudia, our host, was extremely open and communicative, she waited for us upon arrival to show us the house and yard and was there with information throughout our stay if we needed it. A model for how such a place should be run, our congratulations!

Quinta da Nasce Água is situated in Angra do Heroísmo and has a pool with a view and garden views. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Fantastic hotel. My 9 year old daughter absolutely loved it and she wants to go back. Great swimming pool. Wonderful garden. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff.

The location is superb, offering stunning views and even a green parking area. Modern convenience abounds: you can open the gates and doors directly from your smartphone. Ana, the host, is an absolute gem. We arrived late on Christmas Eve, and while the city was closed tight the next morning, Ana had thoughtfully stocked the villa with eggs, cheese, and other essentials. She even went above and beyond to return some items we forgot in the closet by delivering them to the reception of our next hotel. Outstanding hospitality!

Matriz Lofts is set in Ponta Delgada, 25 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon, 26 km from Lagoa Verde, and 27 km from Lagoa Azul. A perfect stay for our family when in Ponta Delgada. Very clean and comfortable, this private apartment is situated right in the city center, next to some highly recommended restaurants and cafés. Apart from being comfortable, super clean, with everything that you need inside, we gladly learned that it is quiet too. The owner was more than friendly, always there to help if needed.
