Clean, comfortable, substantial comprehensive breakfast, quiet setting, very helpful and welcoming staff. Best bathtub I’ve ever experienced - looking to have one installed if I can find the model name/number.

Former residence of the exiled Italian kings, Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel & Spa faces the Atlantic Ocean in Cascais. It features a thalasso spa with face and body treatments, a well-equipped gym and nearby golf courses. Amazing hotel, wonderful room, super location. Polished service from every staff member. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Best in the area. Large heated outdoor pool. Also important to mention is the lighting in the room and bath was better than most hotel rooms today. Big bonus points. Very close to Boca do Inferno and downtown Cascais but just off the 'main drag' enough to be quiet and peaceful. The Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel & Spa was so perfect, we extended our stay an extra night.

The shops and seafront cafes and bars of Cascais are just a 10-minute drive away. Quinta de Marinha Golf Club borders the hotel property. Free on-site private parking is available. Lisbon's Humberto Delgado International Airport is within 38 km. Our family really loves this place. This is our third Christmas vacation at Vila Bicuda. I don't know what else to add. I hope we'll be able to come again.
