Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. Wonderful location! Just 2 blocks inland from the waterfront, we could be to the main attractions in 5 minutes. We didn’t rent a car, so a hotel in easy walking distance was fantastic. The hotel is very nice. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was a nice perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our inquiries.

Perfect for our last night in Madeira. Close to airport and walking distance to grocery store and a few restaurants. New, well designed suite that had everything we needed. Owner even helped load our bags in morning. Thanks for a great stay.

It was a perfect place for a one-week trip. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the flat was enough big for 5 people, was in a very good condition and in a very good localisation.

Regarding the location, it's not central but quiet and peaceful, with quick trips to supermarket and bus that can take you in 10 minutes to the city center. The view is very good as well.

Almost everything about the property was perfect: it was comfortable, very well equipped with kitchen tools, had plenty of sunlight, a great bathroom, amazing terrace, and lovely garden! Susana, the host, was absolutely exceptional, friendly and responsive. Parking isn’t possible on the premises itself, but further up the street (about a 3-minute walk away from the property). Funchal and restaurants were perfectly accessible by foot, but keep in mind that you will have to pass by some hills. Although the property is located close to a somewhat busier road, the large distance between the gate of the property and the house itself ensures complete peace at night as well as during the day in the garden.
