The sauna was very-very good after our skiing/road trip :)

Boasting a garden and views of river, Mannflogården Bed & Breakfast, Sälenfjällen is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Sälen, 8.2 km from Snötorget. Everything was excellent. The room was very clean, well equipped (kettle, pots, pans, coffee machine, towels, cleaning supplies, shoe warmer etc.), and comfortable. Location is also fantastic, close to both Sälen and Kläppen, as well as many cross-country tracks. Breakfast was very good, and the host very accommodating. Boasting a sauna, Martebäcken 21 is situated in Sälen. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The house is very comfortable (but very warm) and the one we rented had the terrace at the back facing the trees so it felt private. Beds are big and comfortable. If you go in the summer there is not much to do except hiking but the surroundings are beautiful if you are prepared to drive. Good communication with the owners but 2 sleepless nights due to something loose on the roof banging. 1 bathroom for a family of 4 was ok (2nd toilet upstairs was good) but we have no idea how more manage with just 1 bathroom, must be a queue.

It was a very big house with 4 bedrooms and it was very affordable. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner was very nice.

This hotel is located in the ski resort of Sälen, 150 metres from the Lindvallen Ski Centre. It offers free sauna access, rooms with flat-screen TVs and excellent skiing opportunities. it's already nice winter atmosphere there, with warm fireplace inside and a lot of snow outside.
