Offering a garden and garden view, Thottska Villan is set in Strömsholm, 23 km from Aros Congress Center and 24 km from Västerås Train Station. My only regret is not staying longer.

Situated about 3 minutes’ drive from central Västerås, this picturesque old farm offers apartments decorated in traditional Swedish country style with free Wi-Fi and parking. Amazing family, amazing property. Really sweet people.

Featuring garden views, Pärla med egen brygga provides accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 14 km from Aros Congress Center. Great place on the water, very picturesque. The Apartment is huge! Lots of space, with everything you could need in the kitchen. We even went for a dip in the lake. Hosts welcomed us on arrival and were lovely. Information sheet on the table with all the wifi details etc. Very easy transition.

Offering an open-air bath and quiet street view, The Cottage Badelunda is situated in Västerås, 22 km from Angso Castle and 28 km from Bredsand beach. The cottage was fantastic, well equipped and quiet! Derek and Katarina were great hosts, met us at the cottage and showed us around and how to use the key box. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Set in Västerås, in a historic building, 2.5 km from Angso Castle, Ängsö Fishermans Cottage is a holiday home with a private beach area and open-air bath. Close to nature. Lake, forest, berries, swimming.

Featuring garden views, Ekengård offers accommodation with patio, around 50 km from Örebro Castle. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. This place was amazing! Hans and Anita met us when we arrived and showed us the property, telling stories about the history of the building. It was adorable, cozy, comfortable, and absolutely perfect! The kitchen has all conveniences including coffee and spices. The large jacuzzi bath was much appreciated. The bedrooms were great and the beds were the most comfortable we had slept in in 5 weeks. There was excellent hiking around a nearby lake. We wish we could have extended our trip.

Stadshotellet is set in an elegant Art Nouveau building on Stor Torget square, 10 minutes’ walk from Västerås Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, stylish rooms and an English-style gastro pub. This hotel is absolutely fantastic; very central but quiet location; many restaurants nearby. The room was nice, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffer was gorgeous and I totally recommend this hotel!

Located just 3.7 km from Aros Congress Center, Rocklunda Village offers accommodation in Västerås with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as bicycle parking. It was very nice. Really like trafitional swedish house you could see on county side.

Frösåker G&CC is situated in Västerås, 21 km from Angso Castle, and has a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Wonderful hotel rooms and restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and nature only 20 minutes from Västerås. The staff were very friendly and professional. I can highly recommend the property.

WESTERQVARN is located in Mölntorp, 24 km from Västerås Train Station and 30 km from Parken Zoo, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. A very cosy place in beautiful surroundings.
