I participated in the El Camino Portuguese during the month of May. This hotel was on the variante espiritual, and it was the absolute best decision I made throughout my entire two week adventure to stay here. When I and a couple of other pilgrims arrived, we were welcomed with open and warm arms, and surrounded by a beautiful view of pristine vineyards. The two gentlemen that ran the hotel went out of their way to accommodate every one of my/our needs, including personally driving us back to the exact point of the camino that we left in order to get to the hotel. If you are looking for: - Incredible hosts - Clean rooms - Hot showers - A delicious, homemade breakfast feast - Affordable price ...look no further. Thank you very much for everything. Modern architecture with an eye toward tradition and blending into the landscape, the common areas enjoy panoramic views of the countryside. Staff was also wonderful and welcoming. Rooms are spacious, finished with interesting materials and furniture; we enjoyed a small porch with a seating area as well. It is a 5 minute walk from the monastery and the famed Ruta de Pedra y Auga along the Rio Armenteira - which was why we wanted to stay in the area. Finally, the complimentary breakfast truly is one of the best you can find anywhere (and perhaps the only one you will find nearby), which makes the overall cost very reasonable.

Spotlessly clean. The owner is friendly and helpful. Great price. Breakfast was good. Secure quiet place to keep the bike right outside. Really good value.
