The room was gorgeous. Airy and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large and clean. The breakfast area was clean and tidy and my stay was a peaceful one. The Lodge was 4 minutes outside of town which was handy.

Both Philomena and Fergus were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They called the local hotel and made reservations for us and dropped us there for our meal.

It was a clean room ideal for a weekend break where I could get my head down. It is in an ideal location in Kells and had facilities for making a drink. The room was warm and comfortable for those who like that but for me, it was well ventilated having two window in the bedroom that could be opened. The owners are very nice and were very helpful as I was late getting to the location and I had to ring them to find out where it was.

Brigid and Dessie and their daughters were an absolute delight! So helpful and kind. Sweethearts! The farm is beautifully located and I wish I hadn’t missed the herbal medicine workshop day! I’m sure it would’ve been great as Brigid is very knowledgeable. We were in the en suite property recently renovated. I understand a family member is going to be living in this property. Self catering was and everything you need in clean and modern kitchen. There is also another property which may be less modernised. Brigid and Dessie said we were welcome to organic produce from their polytunnels. The farm is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend! Kate.
