Unfortunately we didn't have breakfast as we had a very early ferry, but I have to say, if the breakfast is equal to the hospitality, location, and general feel for the place, I'm sure it would have been excellent! They offered a nicely stocked "Honesty Bar" if you decided to have a night cap or a refreshment. A lovely addition to the stay!

In an 18th century building, the family run Faythe Guesthouse is built on the grounds of a former castle. Offering rooms with en suite bathrooms, the Faythe provides delicious breakfasts.

Cooked breakfast not provided but there was plenty of choice of cereals plus bread and orange juice, tea and coffee as much as you wanted. A nice touch , a bottle of water was provided in the bedroom for each visitor especially as the weather was hot. The owner was very helpful. We would stay there again.
