Charming little hotel smack in the centre of village, stylish yet cozy room with kettle, stylish interiors, kind personnel, great breakfast with local produce. We liked the ancient guidebooks in the bar. Draught beer was also good!

I was passing through this beautiful area in Italy on business. I needed a place for the night. The way in which it's interior was designed, in a rustic style, was a pleasant surprise. Very tastfully done. Don't be discouraged by the narrow road to the place. For me it added to it's country charm in a very beautiful part of Emilia.

The Trout Lodge is located in Collagna, in the middle of the apuan Alps. A great place for hiking and cycling. The Trout Lodge itself ist absolutely amazing. Beautiful, spotless clean and Spacious rooms, great handmade breakfast and a very kind and helpful owner and staff. This was my third stay here and it will not be the last.
