Very pleasant stay in Tsudoi. The location is great very close to the bus and close to nice hiking routes. The staff was super nice and we had a lot of fun together. Best stay of my visit to Japan so far.

We loved the atmosphere, the hot tubs, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast cooked by our host. We used this ryokan as a centre to explore the area. We have many fond memories of this stay.

The facilities are very clean, the room is traditional with futon and yukata, and the bath is nice. The pension does not have outdoor bath but there are many public baths just a few minutes away. Ichi(the host/owner) is super friendly and helpful. I would 100 % recommend staying here if you want to go hiking, meet new people and be located close to everything in this small mountain village.
