As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

From the moment we entered the house the hospitality was absolutely wonderful. The owners were very friendly and kind. We also tried their home cooked breakfast that was absolutely breathtaking. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here

Clean simple rooms and an excellent location. The host is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had via text. I can’t imagine a better location. We were able to walk to dinner at the Grand hotel in about 5 mins and the view from the outdoor seating area was excellent!

If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. Conveniently located near a Lovers Leap waterfall and beautiful views over the countryside. There is hot water, the staff is attentive, and the rooms are clean with hot water.

The room was very clean and the host was super friendly. He arranged a guide for us to go to the waterfall and took us down Town for a nice evening. I would recommend this place! :)

The owners are amazing! They had arranged a really sweet surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and they made our stay very comfortable. The room was also good value for money and the views were so beautiful. We were provided a lot of blankets to survive the cold and the bathroom was well equipped. 100% recommend staying Seeming Lodge!
