We spend quite some time in Polhena/Madiha and @ justanotherguesthouse. And this is definitely the best place to stay. Even on the hottest days you can cool down at the balcony. There you get shadow plus the wind of the coast. Plus the beautiful view on ocean and palm trees. Any place of the accommodations has a super chilled atmosphere. It’s lovely furnished compared to what we experienced at other stays. Not too much not too less. The kitchen has all you need. The hammock on your own beach also a favourite place to hang around. The hosts are just more than lovely. And definitely able to help you out with anything u might want to know or to have.

I made a last-minute booking to stay at loSu Polhena. They were extremely accommodating and responsive, which made my arrival very easy and pleasant. The hotel was spacious, quiet, new and very comfortable and I immediately felt at home. Lolo and Su are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have amazing local knowledge and gave great tips and advice on where to eat and sights to see. And the hotel itself is in an excellent location as it’s just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and to local restaurants. Breakfast was included and it was huge and and really tasty. I absolutely loved the big pool, perfect for both swimming or just chilling out after a long day. I like the way they had designed around the pool with lots of greenery so I felt like I was in nature. They also have a rooftop you can sit on and watch the sunset. Overall I would definitely recommend!

Exсellent place! The hosting family was absolutely helpful in any request we had. Villa Polhena is situated a few minutes far from two beaches. One beach with turtles and nice cafe Dr. House. It sets back from the main road and hustle and bustle. Villa is very clean and calm. The owner is always taking care of the guests. Kitchen is well equipped with washing machine. Cleaning done every 7 days. There is enough space for children running around and parking. Very delicious breakfasts are available as well. Barbecue place was organized on request right at our terrace. Thank you for perfect staying!

Food fantastic, and always fresh. Beautiful sunsets and a friendly vibe, safe for familys. The couple running Blue Corals are exceptionaly nice. Boat trips up Matara river can be arranged here as can snorkelling with turtles and mini van hire.
