Beautiful family, very welcoming and very helpful. Drove me to the beach and went above and beyond for me. Dinner was incredible, only 3,000 rupees! Breakfast also lovely with a good pot of tea. Arranged a catamaran trip too which was super cheap and a nice thing to do. Room was great. No bug issues. Nothing extravagant definitely better than expected. Pool is also lovely.

Piyal welcomed us very warmly. Also his little son and daughter we met are super sweet and friendly. We got a welcome drink and piyal told us a lot about the plants and fruits in his garden.This was very informative. Packed our lunch in boxes to bring it to the beach. Also he gave as a lot of good advice what to do and where to go in Sri Lanka and helped with the bus. So you see, very helpful at any time with any topic!

Wow only lovely words for this place! First of all: the owners are the best. They are so friendly and helpful. Second: the house is great. The room is very clean, you have a fan and AC, big bathroom, a terrace, good wifi and a nice green garden. Also breakfast was delicious! And at last: the house is 2 minutes walk from a quiet beach and also a supermarket. If you want some rest and not in a touristic area. This is perfect!

Perfect nice & clean place basically right on the beach, with good restaurant and Turtle rescue center in the neighborhood. In the end we received nice gift from the collective. Recommended !

The villa is absolutely perfect, the rooms were clean and the pool was spotless. We had the whole place to ourselves for two days as no other guests and it was just what we needed. The beach is a short walk and is beautiful. You can’t swim right outside the house but 500m up there is a place to swim. We were recommended food places to go by the two guys running it and they were just perfect. The breakfast was lovely and they accommodated for our needs. The two guys were so so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. They never stop smiling. It was a pleasure to stay here and if we could have extended our trip we would have done.

The villa was in a quiet road. Ahungalla beach was 5 min. walk. I also really liked the little bay in front of Villa Thotupola which was just next to the long beach. It is a family run business and the owners are very nice, helpful. They also do airport transfers, trips. The breakfast was always very tasty. We had traditional bits and pieces as well. Always fresh fruit.The little kitchen had a kettle, a knife(is useful when you buy your own fruit), bottle opener.The room was very clean. The bed had a net. There is a sitting area in front of the room. It had a drying rack.It was nice to relax there. Fresh flowers on the table. I adored the beautiful garden they have. We also fed the monkeys! Spent a great time there and also the little village has an ayurvedic shop on the main road.The owner has it all!

Everything was perfect. When my wife made the booking, I didn't expect many facilities. I only agreed to stay only one night at Villa 45 because our main day was planned for the next day. After staying at Villa 45 I was so happy since it was worth it in every aspect. The caretaker of the property Mr. Raj was really helpful, and also the owner Mr. Nipun took care of everything we need. When I ask him to book a river safari boat he quickly arranged it for an affordable price. I must mention the 'Maadu' river safari was amazing. My overall experience was really awesome and I highly recommend Villa 45.
