Very nice cozy and quite place, big apartments. Small kitchen, but there were everything we needed. New and interesting for kids playground for children.

Aida the owner and her daughter are going out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The guesthouse is very close to town but in the middle It was nice to walk our dog.

Our stay was very short and there were no problems. Room is simple but clean and tidy. No tea making facility in the room, but there is fully equipped shared kitchen downstairs. Nice garden. Location is fine if you travel by car.

The first thing you see upon going through the exterior door of the property and advancing a few meters is a small garden partially covered by a lush lawn, with a table and a swinging chair shaded by a thick flowery shrub. The guesthouse itself is on the right, a number of painted wooden poles supporting the structure, giving way to the front wall, recessed half a meter past them. There's a row of potted plants with dotted white and red blossoms nested against it, and a single door in the middle leading to the common dining area, a couple of white-framed windows on each side. You go up to the second floor via a side staircase, which ends in an open corridor protected by a series of planks, painted the same color as the facade. There's no elaborate decoration. It's a rustic, inconspicuous building, yet charming and inviting. I felt at home there, and safe and taken care of. I was obviously grateful that everything was spotless clean and smelled nice, but also that it was quiet and calm. The amenities were thoughtfully provided for and I had everything I needed. There's no tv, but you don't want one, not without spoiling the "feel" of the place. It's all wood, and homey and cozy. The included breakfast is definitely one of the highlights and a superb way to start your day. The selection of teas, jams and butters was also certainly welcome. I was able to enjoy the sauna on my last night (for a small additional fee), which was a therapeutic and restoring way to end my stay. There's a bus stop a mere block away and the route can take you to the city center in under 20 minutes. You can also get to the science museum on foot in about the same time, if you're looking for a place to take some pictures and take in the sunset. The industrial area and northern half of the city is just across the bridge over the Venta river. Would definitely recommend and hope I get to visit again.

Very clean and peaceful place. Friendly owners. We took one bedroom house, there was everything you need (even tea, coffe, sugar, salt, oil). Good location-5 min from Venspils by car. There is a lot of things to do for kids. It is realy fantastic place!

The host family are really good, they provide with everything you need with a smile. The houses are very clean equiped with all the utensils. Most importantly excellent BBQ facility, a very good place to spend time with your friends and family and yes the beach is on Walking distance 👌
