The staff was nice, she helped us with the organization of a trip to the Danube Delta. Breakfast was varied, like a hotel classic. We had two rooms, one had a balcony. The location of the accommodation is great, close to a shop, pub, pharmacy, ATM

It is a great location, with a very nice and warm people. The food prepared by the host is great. you should try it! The son of the host took us to a magnificent boat trip by the Delta’s canals where we could admire amazing views. We had a great, relaxing time by this location and we highly recommend it!

I can honestly say this was one of the best accommodation, not only from Romania, but from all of my travels. The food was EXCEPTIONAL, I never had fish so tasty and fresh! But the best part were the boad rides that our hosts were so kind to offer to us. The host is very knowledgeable about the fauna and was very kind to show us all kind of amazing birds. I recommend this location 100%.

We had the best stay, the lady landlord expected us with music and champagne, as we celebrated 15 years of marriage. She was very kind, friendly and helpful. She is the best!!! The food was very good and fresh! The boat trip was a wonder. All was FANTASTIC! Thank you for all Camelia! We will return for sure!

Located 300 metres from the Sfântu Gheorghe branch of the Danube, Bunica Maria - Guesthouse for birders guest house offers traditional accommodation in the natural reservation of the Danube Delta.

Highly recommended place to stay if you are passionate about birdwatching. The house is full of birds photos and books on the topic. If you are lucky, you can see a little owl or a spanish sparrow while enjoying the dinner (delicious!) in the garden. Andrei is a great guide knowing when to slow down the boat so you can focus on the birds around. He will tell you a lot not only about the species you meet but also the Danube Delta itself. Last but not least, any birdwatcher will appreciate the coffee machine that is available for the guests :)

Beautiful experience. Clean rooms, spacious garden, local food made from scratch in the house from fish. The place is owned and run by husband and wife. It was a relaxing holiday. They offer a tasty continental breakfast and an evening meal. The rooms have toiletries towels. Everything is nice and tidy.
