Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Location is amazing. Space was very large for the price. Good value and host always responded promptly. The key was left in the door by the host so it was easy to collect. It is a quiet area so easy to relax.
This farm house is having a nice view. The host is kind person and always ready to help. The location is not easy to reach for first timer but host is always available to guide you to reach there. The road to farm house is little bit rough but not a big deal.
Host was on hand immediately by phone to help find what is a slightly bumpy off-road accommodation. No microwave but house is very well equipped for self catering. Beautiful scenery
We have enjoyed our first visit to Saudi Arabia, namely AlUla. The accommodation is located very close to the nature, surrounded by rock formations typical for Hegra, and has surely added to the experience. The host was very friendly and very responsive to communication. The accommodation itself is a bit far from the city, so it is advisable to have your own car when staying there. The standard is pretty basic so set your expectations accordingly. The heating was working very well, so you can stay there even in winter.
The host and the care taker (Kareem, who was at the property, a very humble and sweet guy) were very kind and patient. Even though there was a language barrier and trouble communicating, the care taker did his best to converse. They were quite understanding to accept their faults and partially took responsibility for the same. The place was located at the outskirts of the city, which made it really peaceful and secluded. The place was fairly clean and equipped.
it was so authentic, it was Bedouin style but inside full facilities, we thought we were booking one chalet but on arrival it turned out the whole place was ours, it consisted of one chalet with a double bed, once chalet with three single beds, three bathrooms and a separate chalet as a kitchen, also a majlis to relax in, coffee/tea making facilities in the bedrooms too, you drove in and once inside completely private. fabulous experience. great location on a working date farm, only a five minute drive into old town Al Ula.
Great location and spacious house in AlUla. Met by friendly owner to hand over keys (even though we were later than expected!). House had a large bathroom and kitchen with utensils provided; wifi and nice lounge and bedrooms.
