The view there is astonishing! From our room, we could see the hills, the fields, the nearby city! We experienced a lot of wind from the rain but it didn't make any difference. The room was comfy and the crew was very friendly.

Location is so convenient between Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and all the amazing vineyards in between. The grounds were beautiful with almost 360 degree mountain views and the rooms were rustic yet stylish with all mod cons. Even though the guest houses were adjoined it still felt very private and the simple breakfast was elegant. Hardy and Steffi were great, so so friendly and helpful, they communicated before and throughout and so attentive to guest needs. They made some great recommendations for eating and visiting and we weren’t disappointed.

This place is incredible. The scenery is spectacular - it’s the most beautiful part of the most beautiful part of the world. The cottage itself is also beautifully designed and decorated, and has absolutely anything you need for a VERY comfortable stay. It is luxurious while at the same time homely and welcoming, making our stay very relaxing. There is so much to do in and around Stellenbosch, but if you stay here you won’t want to leave the property. The manager/host is also very friendly and helpful, so we felt very welcome.

We had the most exceptional stay! The location was magnificent and we were spoilt with wine, choccies, cheese platters and much more. The whole stay just could not have been better and I cannot wait to go back!

Alluvia is incredible. Definitely worth the stay - the rooms and views are amazing, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Had dinner at the restaurant on our first evening and breakfast on our last day and the food was delicious - so were their wines. Very well situated between some of the best vineyards so the perfect location if your touring the area or if you just want to relax.
