Fireman Center is located in Saari, 30 km from Patsaspuisto. This unique hotel offers free WiFi, parking and easy access to a variety of outdoor activities. The hotel is situated in a small village with a very good supermarket close by. The Fireman Centre is a very good place to stay. It is clean and well laid out, the room and bathroom were large. Olga and Sergei were very welcoming and helpful, even providing something for breakfast although it was not included.

Set in Lappeenranta and only 4.4 km from Saimaa Canal Museum, Guesthouse Miekkala offers accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice and quiet place at the country side. Room had everything (even two bed side lamps and a mirror) even it was the basic room. Parking just at the steps is always a big plus (easy to pack & unpack).

Lana Guest house is set in Simpele and offers free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities. The property features garden and city views. Very nice apartment. Clean, fully equipped for our needs and the owner is very nice. Very much recommended.

36 km from Saimaa Canal Museum in Imatra, Tientaus 1 Apartments offers accommodation with access to a steam room. Quite location with easy access to the centre area of Imatra. Apartment has everything we need for our stay. We was really enjoyed the sauna. Alexander was welcoming and gidding ours with all instructors about check in and facilities . Definitely can recommend that place for people who are enjoying the independence and simple lifestyle.
