Free cookies and water were a nice touch. Great starting point for a hiking trip in the area. Various Greek taverns and shops nearby. Lots of cats roaming the streets in the area (my girlfriend loves cats, so we had to stop every few meters so she could pet them...). Unfortunately, no real breakfast options nearby, but we found great ones in Kalambaka, around a 20 minute walk away.

Located in Volos, 2.3 km from Anavros Beach and 3 km from Panthessaliko Stadium, M & N Guesthouse offers air conditioning. The room was fabulous--clean--new--well equipped and there was coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, lots of fresh bottled water. The AC worked great and so did the wifi. The host was very accommodating and helpful in finding beaches, restaurants, etc.
