Toyako Guest House Ponkotan is situated in Lake Toya, in the Toyako Onsen district. With free WiFi, this 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. Very friendly staff which made the stay worth it. They helped me with instructions on how to get to a specific place and held my luggage until I came back. The bed was very comfortable and the room was really nice! If only all hostels were like this!

It was during the Yosaikan Festival and this place away from Sapporo city centre, didn't expect anything as only need a place to stay for 1 night and it turned out it was a very pleasant stay and unexpected. My stay here was simply wonderful. Yoshie is an outstanding host and she will make you feel right at home, and help with anything she can. I met wonderful people and had tons of fun, we even had a "live karaoke" night where we played the guitar and sang songs. I really hope I can come back some time!

They are so warm and friendly. The place itself is very clean and well organized. Free miso soup, tea, and coffee in the common area was also very welcomed! There's even a bathtub for those who prefer that over a shower. Very well recommended for anyone to stay!

Shabby House is a 60-year old traditional Japanese home that is situated in Sapporo. Nishisenjuyojo Station is a 3-minute walk away from the property. This guest house offers a perfect, charming stay in Sapporo. The host is fantastic, going above and beyond to make your stay a good one. The breakfast is delicious, the space is clean and comfortable, and the house is located close to a tram stop.

Ocho Guest House is located within a 10-minute walk to Horohirabashi subway station and a 5-minute walk from Nakajimakoen Dori tram station. It’s located 2min away from the tram station, and 15min from the subway station. (both transportations can get you directly to the central area) The bedroom is a bit small to get your suitcase opened and stuff, but it’s comfy and clean, with a nice heating system, and there’s a medium size locker. The shower/bathroom’s also very clean. There’s free tea, coffee and biscuits in the common area, and the kitchen is nicely equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Incredibly responsive host that made us feel right at home. Great transport service to and from the resort. incredible breakfast!
