250 metres from Beppu Tower, BEPPU HOSTEL U&T is set in Beppu and features a garden and a terrace. The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum. We found a little gem here. We usually book business hotels, but we choose this place for the score about the cleaning. We confirm this is just one of the point this place is great to. This is truly an amazing place to stay in Beppu. The position is convenient 8minutes walk from the station, but 30 seconds from a bus stop (Beppu Tower) which take you in every place you need to go. The hotel is kept immaculate, clean and so welcoming. It use high technology to enter and keep the room locked. Everything and every detail is thought to make tourists comfortable, safe and to let them have an easy and relaxing stay. All the staff running this hostel are very friendly, helpful and some speak very good English. The bedroom was 100% super clean, well decorated and comfortable. There was no noise during the night and we slept very well. At the reception you can find all the information you looking for to visit the city and the services it has to offer. In addition there are games, free drinks and a fully equipped kitchen for the guests. We will be back for sure..and for more days! Thanks for everything, you made our trip perfect 🙏

In the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, close to Yukemori Observatory, OMOLOSO Hostel オモロソウ ホステル features a garden and a washing machine. One of the friendliest hosts I ever had the pleasure to spend time with. The house layout also creates a social atmosphere where the hosts are always present and ready to help or simply chat with you.

Guest House CARAPAN has air-conditioned guest accommodation in Kagoshima, a few steps from Iso Beach, 5.4 km from Kagoshima Chuo Station and 2.1 km from Kagoshima Station. Warm and friendly hosts that made us feel super welcome! We hope to come back again to stay at this awesome family-run hostel. They have a lovely big kitchen and dining area for guests to cook and hangout. Located right across the road from a great surfing beach with bikes for free and surfboard & wetsuit rentals. Lots of things in biking distance if you don't have a car and we took a train nearby that took us to the airport when leaving. Emi and Sok also offer surfing lessons and surf-skate lessons which we didn't sign up for but heard good things about from other guests. Super clean and wifi was good (my partner had to do a video meeting while there). The suggestions from our hosts on which breaks to go to so we could get some great surfs in were also really appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay that capped off our awesome time in Kyushu!!

Situated in Yakushima and only 700 metres from Isso Beach, 屋久杉楼 七福 features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything is great! Barbara is an amazing host, she makes sure that you understand everything and she creates a healthy atmosphere. It is also very easy to talk with people and would recommend for people traveling alone. The old architecture gives the place a magical atmosphere.

Situated 42 km from Oita Bank Dome, 湯布院月灯り offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. Nice house and the owner is very kind. It’s quite far from train station but can take a taxi to the house, or if you want to see nice places from the station to the house, recommend to walk, it’s take a time but nice place to see and take a photo. There is a big bath tub that can use 24 hours. In the morning the owner make breakfasts for us too.

Located in Gokase, 47 km from Mount Aso, Guesthouse EL CAMPO features air-conditioned rooms and a garden. This guest house provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. Super lovely owners, great food, and beautiful lodgings. Definitely worth doing the dinner.

Set in Nagasaki and within 1.3 km of Nagasaki Station, Almas Guest House(アルマス） features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The owner is very kind and helpful. The staff is very accommodating. You can meet lots of nice people and share with each other some travelling tips in the guesthouse.

Offering a garden and river view, Guesthouse Sakichi is located in Beppu, 1.2 km from Beppu Station and 13 km from Oita Station. Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They let us check in an hour before the actual check-in time because they were around. Their home is beautiful and the rooms are large, and very clean. There is a free car parking space next to the property which is also a bonus. They also gave us some great restaurant recommendations.

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Itosima Guesthouse TOMO is situated in Itoshima, 19 km from Fukuoka Tower and 19 km from Fukuoka Castle. It is set 18 km from Fukuoka Yahuoku! It was a dormitory and I was worrying about the noise. But it was very quiet at night and lights were turned off by the staff at 11pm, which was nice. I was able to sleep well. The location is walkable from the station. Neighborhood is quiet. There was a map showing shops and restaurants nearby at the guesthouse. The owner kindly told us a vegetarian dinner option (an udon restaurant which opens till late, just 5min walk from the guesthouse). Luggage storage after checkout was also possible.
