The accommodation is located in the heart of the historic town in a picturesque alley under the stairs, which is just a short walk from the central square. The lady staff who look after the accommodation were very pleasant. They explained everything and check-in/checout went perfectly fine. The breakfasts were very good and tasty. The interiors, the pub, the courtyard and the surroundings are really very nice. We were a group of friends here, guys who were going to the mountains. But the place is definitely ideal for couples and families. There are lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, wine bars near the accommodation. The town itself is beautiful and I could write a lot about it. I definitely recommend it.

Pensiunea Max está en Cluj-Napoca, a 1,8 km de Museo Etnográfico de Transilvania y a 2,8 km de EXPO Transilvania. We arrived at the accomodation exhausted, after a very unpleasant experience with another property where we obviously couldn't stay. It was after midnight and they waited for us, helped us with the luggage and offered us very useful info for buying fresh food since my grandmother needed to eat something before taking her medicines. The location is quiet and we had a great room with balcony, windows with mosquito nets, so we could enjoy sleeping with fresh air. The room was very clean, there was a very clean fridge and plenty of fresh towels. The shower water pressure was great. One can turn off lights from a switch near the bed. They have a private parking place with marks, so there is parking place for all guests. A big thank you to the night shift who helped us greatly in many ways and the same to the morning shift who were so friendly and offered us coffee from he house! We discovered you mid in a crisis situaton for us, but we will come back to you anytime when we will be around. Your great service and friendliness are highly appreciated !
