Makongo Hills Lodge is a secluded bus lodge, located in the malaria-free Magudu. The lodge features a year-round outdoor pool, shared lounge and BBQ faciliites. Visiting Makongo Hills was the highlight of our South Africa holiday! We saw ture African beauty there! We had 4 game drives in total, our guide Brett was so knowledgeable about animals and great with our 4-year-old boy. So lucky for us that we saw the lion family in one morning. Kaylene, Bekiwe and other staff were super friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Every single detail has been thought of to make one's stay comfortable and memorable. Shaun the owner, and Teagan the host, went out of their way to make sure we were looked after and had everything we needed. This is a very special place. Will definitely be back!
