The welcome from Veronique and Gary was exceptional. The location provides lots of activities to choose from. Nice quiet end of the lake. The safe bicycling routes are extensive. The champagne producing villages near by are pretty and well worth a visit.

What a fantastic start to our French road-trip! Located in an idyllic rural setting on the shores of the Lac D'Orient in a regional nature reserve, these rustic cottages have been beautifully modernised and restored with sensitivity to their history. There's plenty to do and discover in the area. We chose to kick-back and relax. Watch the sunset over the lake from the comfort of your terrace or the local lakeside brasserie. The historic city of Troyes is less than 30 minutes drive away with much to offer both old and new. The owners, Gary & Veronique really made our stay. They are welcoming and very knowledgeable about the localilty and nearby areas.
