We had a lovely stay here. The cottage is cosy and is bigger than it looks in the photos! Great garden for the dog to run about in and lovely walks nearby. The area is quiet and just what we needed after a busy Christmas. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The cottage was very well-equipped and we had everything we needed and more. We all appreciated the welcome gifts, even our dog got spoiled!

Linda is the most gracious host EVER!!! She made us strawberry tarts for our first breakfast, she also provided her own chickens fresh eggs along with milk, butter, bread and she got me ice because I use it in my water bottle every day, all day!!! The cottage is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL and has EVERYTHING you would possibly need for a stay! Linda has thought of everything for her guests!!! I felt as if I were at home in their beautiful cottage and property! They have chickens and sheep which makes it so special!!! I fell in love with the place and Linda and hope to keep in touch with her. Her husband Dave is just as kind as she is! Truly beautiful people! It was located about 10 minutes from New Lanark and Lanark township so it was easy to get groceries and provisions. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Parking on site was also great.

Spotlessly clean, bright and airy. Our stay was for four nights. After a long day travelling we arrived early evening. The cottage is part of a larger estate and the grounds are beautiful, we enjoyed an evening walk exploring. West Calder is just a 25-30 minute drive to Edinburgh. The rooms were lovely and clean, beds very comfy, plenty of extra towels etc. The welcome package of breakfast items and milk and juice was so thoughtful and very gratefully received! The three bathrooms were a bonus and worked well for our party. Cannot fault our stay and would definitely consider booking again only next time for longer!
