I liked everything about the place and the house.

This was a lovely schist house in an small village. We were 3 adult family members. We picked this place because there were enough beds for each of us. No one had to sleep on a sofa bed. Also there were enough chairs in the living room for us all to sit comfortably. The breakfast was delivered to the house at a good time in the morning. And there was PLENTY of food. Pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham, jam, butter hot milk and hot coffee. There might be one parking space a little ways down the very narrow street. But we parked by the café and walked. My husband and I have mobility issues but with the help of our daughter we were able to manage our luggage, etc. However there are stairs to the 1st floor bedrooms and cobbled streets to walk to access the house. There was an air conditioning unit that worked well.

The host is very nice and always available The details show how much she puts into creating a nice environment for her guests. You will get antique furniture and home décor, embroidered towels, nice artwork, handmade rugs...you feel the love everywhere you look...this is not Ikea.. :) The view from the house is just amazing and also the location is perfect to visit all the attractions in the area

Great location in the middle of the nature and at the top of the mountain. Beautiful silence and views!!! Really close to Piódão and Fraga da Pena , I loved it. The house is good value for money, the kitchen has all you need and the TV was great.

cute house with a style and amazing view. we’ll equiped kitchen. Sofia the owner is always available and ready to help. the village is at about 10 minute drive and has supermarket, bakery and pharmacy

It was such a pleasure to spend the weekend in a place so special. The view is quite unique. Surrounded by nature, mountains all around. It really exceeded our best expectation. The rustic decoration matches perfectly the nowadays amenities. Dona Anabela makes the reception even more warm and special by introducing the history of the house. It is a home with a proper soul!

We almost didn’t want to write a review, to keep this place as our little secret :) Every aspect, from location (on the top of a hill/mountain far from other houses, the layout of the rooms, the cleanliness, the views, the friendly village nearby, to the magical garden area…Everything was simply perfect! We cannot wait to return!
