Location was great, if you have a car. A few short miles from the Douro river and less than an hour from Porto. Host was superb. Very friendly and helpful. Made a fire for us.

The breakfast was abundant, fresh and served both indoor or on the terrace. Nuno was extremely helpful and kind, booking the restaurant for us and explaining where the best beaches were. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself. We were also able to sit by the chimney in the evening. It was a really enjoyable stay and Maria was also very nice.

The view over the mountains is absolutely beautiful! We went to the Arouca bridge in the next morning and the staffing was really kind and offered us to make the breakfast a bit more earlier so that we could go without rush to our destination. Really friendly staff. They have partnerships with restaurants and they got the food for us, so we didn’t have to leave the facilities. It’s a somewhat hard drive but really worth it.
