Very nice, great value hotel in a very, lovely, village like location at Gilgen, next to Lake Wolfgansee. Our host Barbara was so friendly and willing to make our stay very comfortable with great advice about the area. Hotel was very clean, fresh breakfast for made whilst you sat in the restaurant. Rooms were a good size and car parking in front of the hotel. Short walk to the lake for boat and funicular train ride to Schafberg and beautiful views. Great location to visit Hallstatt and Dachstein Glacier. Some very nice restaurants nearby. Really enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was excellent. Everything sourced locally so very good products (bread from bakery etc). The location is perfect. The people in the hotel are very nice and ready to help /provide information. We would definitely go again.
