Homestays in Cuenca

We were fortunate to book this place. It has everything we needed. During our stay at Carnival many restaurants were closed. It was fabulous having a safe haven to return to after along day of touring. The restaurant is excellent and breakfast in the morning was perfect to start the day.

Did not sample breakfast but, the location is wonderful for walking El Centro in the historical city.

Great location with a sublime rooftop over the city. The shower us very warm and the hostel is clean and nicely managed. Staff was nice. A good option in Cuenca !

The Owners / staff are exceptional. We were welcomed and helped with the luggage. I thought we booked a different room than was offered and they quickly changed it to another, They were accomodating to us in other ways too. They made sure we knew they were available, should we need anything. They stored our luggage beyond check out which was very helpful. Rating 10 despite what we didnt like, because the warmth of the host made up for other things. No traffic or other noise. Peaceful.

A wonderful stylish boutique hotel in an old building: super friendly and helpful hosts, great location on Calle Largo close to the he old city centre and to the new town across the river. We loved the courtyard garden, the upstairs living room with a view, the excellent bed, the good hot water shower, and the wardrobe and drawers. The breakfasts were great with lots of really good coffee. fruit, hibiscus juice, ham, cheese, eggs and toast. Our hosts, Mark and Alonzo gave us a guide to good restaurants in the area. For sure try to have lunch at Cuyo. When we visit Cuenca again we would not consider staying anywhere else.

The facilities are located in the very central area, the room was spacious, clean and had all the required accessories.

Lola and Sylvia were so lovely and helpful. The place is cozy and comfortable. It is an older building but that adds to the charm. A short walk to the centro historico, and a nice Cafe for breakfast with very friendly service nearby. We would definitely stay here again for our next visit to Cuenca.

The hostel is located in the old town and a fabulous spot to stay close to everything! There is a lovely courtyard and it’s a beautiful setting. The rooms are immaculate and really nice spaces. Franco is an outstanding host! Welcoming and kind. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs, coffee on arrival with helpful recommendations. He even got up at 5:30 am to organise our taxi as we were unable to do it in advance.
