Jioty and Munna are super welcoming hosts, available, informative, curious with the desire to share and very informative. Dinners are great! In addition, the location is super lovely and quiet while next to the centre of the village.

Amazing authentic experience in a wooden stilt house, simple, clean and comfortable. We visited the island with our two kids (9 and 12 years old), and all enjoyed the stay. The host family is super friendly and helpful, and very efficient to organize transport logistics to and from the Island. Proud of their culture, they taught us many things about the island and its people. The food was delicious. They took us to a beautiful local celebration commemorating the Assamese philosopher Sankardev’s birthday, with music, dance (classical Sattriya) and play-acting of scenes of Hindu mythology. We strongly recommend Maheswar Land for anyone looking for an authentic experience.

Everything was perfect. The room and the food were Nice. The owner is very helpfull. He knows majuli very well and give you a lot of admises. Thanks a lot, it was a wonderfull stay. I will come back.
