We felt like being family friends on a visit rather than hotel guests – and that was a great thing. Playing football with the host family's kids was so much fun, and ordering a home cooked dinner & breakfast were all memorable experiences. We got to bring the cows from pasture, meet the sheep, feed the pigs and greet the chickens. One of my kids said this was their definite favourite stay during our Balkans trip.
