Host was super friendly and helpful! The Dinner and breakfast were great and came with lots of food. The room was clean and comfortable and views from the property were incredible. Highly recommend staying here!

After a cold wet mudslog from Isinlivi I was greeted at the door and had my wet items taken from me and hung in front of the fireplace. After a hot shower I cozied up in front of hearth with fresh banana bread and cookies. Dinner was fabulous! The bed was super comfy cozy with many blankets and a heater. The hostess and family warm and lovely. She even arranged to transfer my bag onwards to my hostel in Quilotoa. My itinerary permitted I would have loved to stay another day or so.

The shower was hot and the sheets were the most comfortable and luxurious sheets I've ever slept on! Irma is an absolute fairy godmother who anticipates your needs before you have them, and she made our stay in Riobamba wonderful.

I had a great 2-night stay at the Yellow House. Gabi, the hostess, is super kind and friendly. She made me feel welcome and at home from the very first moment. Her family is amazing too, very friendly. My private room was comfortable, the private shower had hot water all the time, and the WiFi worked great inside my room. The location is perfect, 2-3 minutes walking from a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops, right in Plaza Foch. It’s an old building so please don’t expect a 5-star luxury experience (they don’t clean every day, conditions are basics, hostel vibe, etc), but for the price you pay, it’s a great deal!
