The location is perfect – well connected by public transport and just a short walk from the center of Chora, where you’ll find bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and scooter or car rentals. The property is new, well-maintained, and very welcoming. Our room was clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with a large sea-view balcony that’s ideal for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options freshly prepared by the owners at a very reasonable price considering the quality. The staff were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable – they offer a transfer service from the port and are always ready to give great recommendations to make the most of your stay on the island. They kindly fulfilled every request we had. Everything was perfect!

Situated just less than 1 km from Katsiveli Beach, Golden Star features accommodation in Ios Chora with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as free shuttle service. The pool is absolutely unreal, as the beach is a bit of a wander/short bus ride away. The staff are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and were so polite when advising us we had to switch room which was no issue at all!

The rooms are simple and clean. The manager is very kind. When I told him the mattress was too firm for me, within a few hours, he installed a memory foam mattress top that solved the issue. I'm thankful for that gesture.
