George is a wonderful and very friendly host who was always smiling and always offering whatever he could to make my stay more comfortable. I would gladly stay here again if returning to Ios. It is only a few minutes walk to the Chora, but it is also far enough away that you will not be exposed to any loud partying noise and you can get a good sleep - I had no trouble as someone who is not a party person. The view from the balcony was quite a nice way to wake up as well!

Situated in Ios Chora, 1.2 km from Kolitsani Beach, Village Twins features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has garden and city views, and is 10 km from Homer's Tomb. Village Twins is run by a lovely local family (twin brothers, their wife’s and son). The owners were extraordinary kind we felt very much welcomed, almost part of the family. Rooms were cleaned every day, new towels were also provided and the owners kept a close eye on the noise level at the hotel. What’s left to say: Village twins is located right in the centre of IOS. Restaurants, bars, beaches, supermarkets and car rentals are in walking distance. If you are looking for an authentic stay on the cycladic island Ios, Village Twins should be your choice.

Situated just less than 1 km from Katsiveli Beach, Golden Star features accommodation in Ios Chora with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as free shuttle service. The couple who run the hotel are lovely and make you feel at home. They picked us up at the ferry and drove us to the hotel, both on arrival and departure. They made sure we didn’t lack anything at any moment, and anything we needed, they solved right away. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, even their cute little dog. If I go back to Ios, I would definitely stay there again, 100% recommendable. We felt at home.

The property manager, Panos, was very kind. He helped us with extending our stay and navigating to the port when it was time for us to leave.

The traditionally built Ios Pelagos is located in the area of Mylopota within 700 metres from the beach. It offers rooms that open to a patio with an Aegean Sea view. It is an excellent choice between Chora and Mylopotas. The view is amazing and the hosts are very kind and helpful . A very positive experience in Ios!

Offering a garden and garden view, Armonia Pension is situated in Ios Chora, less than 1 km from Kolitsani Beach and 10 km from Homer's Tomb. Excellent value for money. The rooms are simple and clean. The manager is very kind. When I told him the mattress was too firm for me, within a few hours, he installed a memory foam mattress top that solved the issue. I'm thankful for that gesture.
