Staying at the Guesthouse is a must if you go to Katsuyama and visit the dinosaur museum, especially if you have children, even older ones. The stay enhanced the experience. As other reviews have attested, I confirm the hospitality the owners provided us and went beyond our expectations. Many people will visit the museum as a day trip. However, I highly recommend staying overnight if you are a Japanese national with children or, like me, an international tourist.

The appartement was very clean, serene and calming. It has a nice Japanese feel and the hosts were very kind!

We absolutely loved staying with Nori and could not have asked for a better host. From the moment we arrived, he was so warm and welcoming, helped us plan our trip, spent time talking with us, and shared tea while making us feel truly at home. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and treated us like family rather than guests. His house was absolutely wonderful, charming, and thoughtfully cared for, and the town itself was beautiful and peaceful. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip and made the entire experience feel extra special.

By far my favourite place to stay in Japan so far. The ladies who welcomed us was so incredibly sweet; they showed us around and one of them even took us to the local shrine so my kids could enjoy the ice cream I had purchased from their sister store.

Large modern home, parking outside the front door, quiet neighbourhood, fully equipped kitchen, huge rooms, air-conditioning in every room, dimmable lighting, oversize very comfortable beds - amongst the best we’ve slept on in Japan.

Ōno şehrinde, Eiheiji Tapınağı noktasına 26 km, Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall noktasınaysa 29 km mesafede bulunan 貸切宿 だんねだんね Private guest house Danne-Danne tesisi, bahçe ve tesis genelinde... What is see is what you get (and with Japan standard of cleaniness!) If you are looking to stay in a traditional japanese home, Danne-Danne is an excellent choice - with modern facilities but with the old style. The host was also super helpful and responsive!

Obama şehrinde yer alan ve Maizuru Brick Park noktasına 34 km, Kongoin Temple noktasına 34 km mesafede bulunan 古民家の宿「こはる」 tesisi; ücretsiz WiFi, klima, bahçe ve ortak oturma alanı olanağı ile... The family is very friendly and cute. The house is just awesome and I strongly suggest to take the diner and breakfast because the food is simply delicious. I could even tried a real kendo outfit and met one of the daughter from Okinawa with her lovely newborn. We had great chat and we tried dishes I didn't existed. They're also very generous. We had to leave very early in the morning, so they got up to make us small bento box for the road. I strongly recommend.

Katsuyama şehrinde yer alan 恐竜博物館まで車で5分 自然体験 古来農業体験ができる一棟貸し宿Dinosaur Agri tesisi; Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall noktasına 33 km, Echizen Daibutsu noktasınaysa 1,4 km mesafededir. My daughter loved dinosaur dress up and everything we needed was there. The owner was so kind and friendly, gave us a lift to the nearest station every time we went snowboarding. Little kids would love this place. The accommodation was so comfortable warm, clean and felt safe, welcoming Thank you for the best hospitality. We enjoyed our stay so much that didn't want to leave ！ Highly recommend We will definitely come back again when we visit Fukui in future.

Away from the busy city, settled in a mountainous valley with serene views and exposure to the countryside of Japan. Equipped with a Goemon bath, a kotatsu that keeps you warm in colder seasons, and a cute little fluffy roommate 🐈 makes for great company. Wonderful start to my first visit to Japan.
